    Hello!

I'm interested to buy the X4M03.

    But I have two questions:
    1) How can I connect custom antennas to X4M03 device?
    2) How can I create multichannel X4-based device (multiple transmitters + multiple receivers)

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    to 1) You can't!
X4A02 Antenna Board to which the X4SIP02 X4 System-in-Package is soldered has two patch antenna's, as you know. I don't see a chance to connect cables or connectors there (and remove the antenna's). Meaning, you have to design your own board, starting from available Altium X4SIP02 design.
    to 2)
Have a look to the X4 - Prelimanary Datasheet, 10.2. Multi Radar Applications, page 23, that might answer your question in detail.

    Regards,
    Horst

    Go to https://www.xethru.com/, select SYSTEM-ON-CHIP ==> X4 Xethru
Then, you have to contact Novelda for getting the data sheet.

Did you get the data sheet in mean time?
If not, send me a mail to Horst.Huettmann@skydar.de.

This severely limits the ability of creating custom applications using the X4 chip from this development kit. Doe XeThru / Novelda have any plans to sell an a different or conversion card to add ports for an antenna? Or can they provide recommendations to alter the kit to add such ports?

    Hi all,
Can anyone please tell me whether the X4 chip is using Quad SPI or normal SPI ??

    X4-PreliminaryData Sheet:
    *Master/Slave Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI)
*Quad SPI mode for higher data rates

Sooraj, way off topic; You can choose, QSPI/SPI is programmable.
