X2, X4 Module Measurements Setup

    Hi everyone,

    I would like to measure X2, X4 kit. (NVA-R661, X4M03)
    when I read datasheet, the paper just appear operating freqeuncy, S11/S22, time-domian waveform.

    I want to measure TX/RX performances ( IIP3/OIP3, Sideband Suppression, LO leakage, Phase noise, BER, EVM...etc)
    I have N9020A (MXA Signal Analyzer/10Hz to 3.6~26.5GHz), E5071C (Network Anaylzer/9kHz ~ 4.5GHz), 8563E (Spectrum Analyzer/9kHz ~ 26.5GHz)

    If I measure TX/RX performance, what additional equipment do you think?
    If I use waveform generator, what pin should I input signal?
    and what use the modulation method of X2, X4 ?

    Hi Sung-Chul,

    Some of these measurements are not very relevant for our system and can be quite complex to measure. Relevant parameters will be added to the X4 datasheet when we have enough data. You can use this article to get preliminary data on the X4 chip: http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/7870299/

    I am looking for a couple related parameters: leakage (how many dBm leaks from the TX to the RX that is not a reflected pulse) and dynamic range of the RX. I couldn't find those in the article or data sheet
