I am currently testing with a X4M200 module which i have just bought and when i connected the Arduino Mega 2560, X4M200 and Level shifter this way: https://www.xethru.com/community/resources/using-xethru-sensors-with-arduino.139/. My X4M200 module did not seem to work? I used a volt meter and tested the voltage from the X4M200 3.3V pin to the GND and it measures 3.1V. So, I was wondering what is the required voltage level for the X4M200 module to run? Also, is it possible to just connect it to 5V from the Arduino Mega 2560?

According to X4M200 datasheet, 3.3-5.5V is the requirement for the Supply Voltage for VDD_EXT(Pin1), but the X4M200 IO pin operate at 3.3V level, so level-shifter is necessary to couple with 5V Arduino IO.

Did you try to test Arduino 3.3V real power level without connecting X4M200? Make sure the Arduino USB cable connect with your computer directly instead of USB hub. To check if X4M200 function well, I suggest you verify X4M200 on XeThru Explorer with USB connection.

Once try to remove the level shifter in between and connect Arduino Mega 3.3V pin directly to the X4M200 module. I hope it works.
