Respiration sampling

    For my purpose i would like to feed real-time respiration cycles of participants (not just frequency RPM) into a raspberry pie network. Is it possible with X4M200 and how long processing delay do we have to take into account?

    Hi Lorenz,
    Please check the Breath Pattern which you can find from XeThru Explorer plotting. It basically shows the movement of chest in real time.

    Hi Lorenz,
    The RPM stands for Respiration Per Minute. When you breathe in, or inhale, your diaphragm contracts (tightens) and moves downward (the distance between the chest and the xethru sensor increases) and when you breathe out, or exhale, your diaphragm relaxes and moves upward into the chest cavity (the distance between the chest and the xethru sensor decreases). One inhale/exhale or exhale/inhale is one respiration cycle. Summing the total respiration cycles during one minute or 60 seconds gives RPM metric.
