What environmental things could tamper with the radar data? Sunlight? Other radar? GSM signals?

I want to use it in an outdoor situation.

    Hi Marivin,

The radar module do have a working temperature as mentioned by datasheet: 0°C to +85°C.
In the Operating Temperature range, sensor performance is promised.
Sunlight do not have effects. Signal from other radar or GSM will be treated as noise by a specific XeThru module.

Basically, Europe, US and Canada does not allow outdoor static installations. Using UWB RF outdoors in a temporary situation, like a hand-held product, a product that is brought to its use place and removed after use (tools, robots, etc.), or in a car, is normally allowed. Static outdoor installation are things like street light, outdoor occupancy sensor etc. See this document: https://www.etsi.org/deliver/etsi_tr/103100_103199/10318103/01.01.01_60/tr_10318103v010101p.pdf
