    Hi,

    This is Leon Yi.

I have a question related to distance interval in your baseband data.

I saw that distance interval is approximately 4cm in base band frame data from x2m200 data sheet.

    1) If the chest or abdomen movement is below 4cm, Can not x2m200 detect the respiration?

    2) Can you inform me the default value of PulsePerStep register and Integrations register value of x2m200 for sleep and respiration profile?

    Thanks.

    Hi Leon,

    1) Yes. The sampling rate is above Nyquist and movements smaller than the distance interval will be detected; e.g. the phase of the signal will change.

    2) PulsesPerStep and other settings are stored to a .ini file when you start a baseband data recording.

    Hi Olav,

Thank you for your kindly reply.

    I have two more questions.

    1) In your X2M200 log file, I can see RPM value per second.
I think it seems like instant RPM value.
If no, please explain the meaning of RPM to me.

    2) Sometimes, RPM is zero. I think that it means no breath or movement.
    Is it right?

    Thanks again.

    Leon.

RPM is the respiration rate per minute and is only valid when in breathing state. The RPM value is calculated from the last 15 (respiration profile) or 20 (sleep profile) seconds.

    Dear Olav,

    Thank you for your reply.

After I read your pdf - "Excel Macro to visualize recorded respiration data from XeThru Explorer.pdf",

I did it to visualize recorded respiration data from log file.

However, I did not get the result.

While I ran excel macro, I faced run time error.

Debugger shows the attached figure - captured.jpg.

Probably, I guess that the yellow line makes some problem.

Can you advise how to solve it?

    Thanks.

    Leon

can you please upload the source csv file?

What language are you running in Excel? And which versin of XeThru Explorer?

    Hi IngarH,

The attached files are what I used.
The version of XeThru Explorer is 2.0.0 beta.
And I used Korean language in Excel.

    Thanks.

    Hi Leon,

It looks to me as the file xethru_log_Sleep_XethruX2M200_20160726_124357.csv is corrupted, probably by the failing script (and you probably saved it when exiting excel). Can you please send me the original file or possibly record a new one? The recording should be left running for at leaste 5 minutes to ensure that we have enough data to get past the initialization phase.

    Hello this is important information.
I'm not sure that I understand to your answer to first question. How is possible detect smaller distance when is resolution in radar frame is 4 cm?
