I have an application where the absolute distance resolution and accuracy is not that important. (eg 2 to4mm is course) What I need is that given that the radar and the target surface are 50 to 100 mm apart and that I need to be able to track only the changes in distance (differential distance) to sub mm accuracy. Is this possible.

differential distance = Doppler. why not measure the Doppler directly?

    Hi Kent,

Precision of your measurement depends on the SNR and sub-mm precision is achievable. I have not tested this at the close ranges you are describing, good antenna isolation such as with the ancho kit might be necessary.

Hello, I have the ancho kit. What is the range accuracy? And what can influence that?
