Manually adjusting gain

Is it possible to adjust the gain of the receiver manually? The direct path signal is very loud, and mostly that 0th bin is ignored anyway. Is it possible to configure the radar so that the direct path amplitude 'clips' beyond the ADC range? This will allow us to more effectively amplify the signals of reflectors further from the radar.

    Hi Charlie,

Do the DAC_min and DAC_max correspond directly to threshold voltages for the swept-threshold sampler? So if I lower DAC_min and DAC_max, can I target weak reflectors specifically while ignoring strong ones?

    Thanks,

The answer to your first question is yes, but the second one is no because there might be different targets on one distance. You can only see the combined reflection peak from sampled data, but you can not filter reflections by energy level.
