    Hello:

I am running the example: X4XEPDistanceDemo and it give the follow example:
../../xtx4mapp_nodsp.make: No such file or directory

And I have checked the makefile, and it point out: include $(TOP_LEVEL_DIR)/xtx4mapp_nodsp.make
However, there is no such .make file in the top directory.

Could you let me know how to fix this problem?

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

Yes, there seems to be a file missing from the uploaded resource. There will be an update of the resource to address this. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

In the meantime I have attached the missing file. Placing this file in the directory directly above the project directory should resolve the issue. I had to zip it to be allowed to upload it, so remember to unzip.

    Hi Marius:

Yes, the solution is now successfully built. That is great.

I think it will be programmed on the board but I got another error shown in Attachment. Please define the command for “Custom Programming Tool“” debugger/programmer.

    Looking forward your reply.

    Kind regards.

    Hello:

I am using the Atmel to build the solution and it is successfully built but with the warning.

And then I use the recommended Atmel-ICE to debug with the hardware platform but it gives me error message mentioned; there is no device was found(the ICE has been found).

I uploaded my hardware connection and the configuration of hardware in AtmelStudio.

Could you give me some suggestions: more details about the hardware configuration in a compiler, please.?

    Looking forward your reply.

    Regards

    Hi,

On the Atmel-ICE, you need to connect the cable to the port labeled "SAM".
Also make sure to select "SWD" as interface in Atmel Studio.

    Hi,

I had another look at the picture you attached earlier, and you also need to apply power by inserting a USB cable to the X4M03 board. I believe this is the final piece to make it work.

The DistanceDemoViewer is not yet released, and should not have been in the documentation. The DistanceDemo itself should still be a fully functional example without this.
